America Hangs in the Balance

How? Simply put, our airline transportation system. Some four years after 9/11, the TSA still does NOT check what goes UNDER the airplane where you sit. In other words, the cargo area. Four years after 9/11, the TSA still strip searches grandma and lets Abdulla Abdulla walk right on the plane. And now, the TSA has decided scissors, knives and such are again OK to bring onboard planes.

Believe me, one more plane goes down and our Airline industry is in the can. That leads to airline layoffs and snowballs to businesses, then to their employee layoffs, then to more businesses that cater to businesses that cater to airlines, then to businesses that need the airlines to DO business, then more employee layoffs and more and more and downward cycle begins leading to recession and possibly worst.

Can anyone tell me what the hell our government is doing to "really" protect its citizens per its duty as defined in the Constitution?
